Let the misadventures begin...

As you all may already know, we were supposed to be arriving in Quito, Ecuador late this evening. However, we our experiencing our first misadventure, Houston was our first layover, and Houston is currently being evacuated due to hurricane Ike. Understandable, but still... I think Kristen and I are pulling our hair out. Now we leave on Wed the 17th. Hopefully the setback will not extend longer than that. Plus, we've said all of our goodbyes. People are wondering what we're still doing in the country. ---Hurricane people! Have some compassion. Sheesh.... Though, compassion aside, hopefully the next post with be in South America. Cheers!
